Bernie Sanders is starting to pull away from Hillary Clinton in Iowa and now he’s released an ad that may take him to the next level with voters.
His latest campaign ad is beautiful, and it’s hard not to tear up a bit when Simon and Garfunkel’s “America” hits its crescendo and calls out as the words flash across the screen: “They’ve all come to look for America.” It was posted on Jan. 21 and already has more than 1.2 million hits on YouTube.
It’s welcoming. It’s nostalgic. And it might be the best campaign ad of the season.
