    Friday is Cinco de Mayo, a celebration of the rich Mexican culture and heritage of its hard-working people. It marks the anniversary of a military victory of Mexico over the French forces of Napoleon III in 1862.  But this year, with all of the political chaos and immigrant bashing going on in Washington, DC, Cinco de Mayo has taken on greater urgency.
